A 25 year old NGO!
The Foundation for Environmental Education is an association created in 1981 by experts from the Council of Europe.
It is now represented in 47 countries and on 5 continents.

FEE has been active for 25 years for raising awareness with different programmes:
Three programmes are aimed towards the scholar sector:
Eco-Schools, in partnership with Eco-Emballages, is a label decerned to schools that are involved in the preservation of the environment. Every actor and partner lead a diagnostic of the building in order to improve environmental management.
Young Reporters for the Environment is a programme aimed at secondary and high school pupils. With the help of their teachers, they lead inquiries about the local environment. Then, they transmit their results to the public through articles and photographs on the website.
Learning about Forest (non developed France) encourages teachers and children to use the Forest as pedagogical support.
The two other programmes of FEE are aimed to the tourist sector:
Blue Flag, is an environmental education programme aimed at reward municipalities and marinas for their environmental management.
The Green Key is a label for tourist accommodations
